Choose your Grapes
Our grapes grow in the region Perugia with the Italian sun, on above 450m sea level with a special composition of volcanic soil and southern wind to create unique aromas. Villa Bucher makes sure that the grapes are harvested when they are perfectly ripe, which takes place always towards the end of the year around august till November.
You will get a detailed introduction from our winemakers to create the perfect composition of your favourite grapes.

Be part of the harvest
The harvest takes place in autumn. You can take part in this unforgettable experience in the Italian vineyards and pick your own grapes by hand. We assure you that our grapes are carefully selected and sorted according to quality characteristics.
Only the best grapes are used for our wines so that the specific taste can be guaranteed.
Choose your “Barrique”
Antique Oak New Oak
When choosing the wine barrel, you can decide on an old or a new wine barrel.
Both wine barrels create different aromas and give the wine a unique characteristic.
During up to 16 months of maturation in new oak barrels, the aroma is characterised by vanilla and wood notes.
While the ageing in an old oak barrel is mainly tertiary aromas such as notes of leather, coconut and chocolate.
300 bottles to suit your taste
After about 16 months, the wine has ripened in the barrels and it is ready to be bottled. You can leave the wine in the barrel longer time for a more intense flavour profile. The bottle can then be chosen individually with our sommelier. With our graphic designer, you will create your own label to personalise your bottle and make the wine even more unique.
When a dream comes true
As a highlight of the journey to your perfect wine, you will enjoy the first drops of your wine with our sommelier in the dream ambience of Padrino del Vino. He will explain the whole wine process again and explore the different flavours and aromas with you. Great insights into the world of wine and interesting details will be discussed and can be applied to the next barrel.
